It can do 1995-2007 Benz cars and for BMW is 2002-2008.For newer cars,you can check AK500.

Q: Is AK400 the same as AK500?If not,why?
A: They are different from each other.AK500 can do BMW and Benz cars ,however,the AK400 mainly do Benz cars.
Actually,AK500 is more powerful than AK400,but the big distinction is AK500 has the nice function for Motorola chip proramming and it has a 40G hard disk.
